Day 30 - June 9, 2023. Dunkirk, NY - Hamburg, NY
Not much time for notes tonight, so this will be brief. For much of the day we were pretty darned close to the lake. Not nearly as many vineyards as there were yesterday. Lots of houses that reminded me more of cottages in many places. A few little towns too, and some water views. A stretch of fresh pavement that's always a treat!
Some small town art.
Oh look - Timmy's! Must be close to Canada. And - no line up at the drive through window.
Makin' me feel at home..............
SAG stop was at Evangola State Park. Cindi sweet-talked her way into having the groundskeeper let her park on his coveted grass.
In to the hotel at 5. Casey left us today. New guide Amy joined us for a few days, as did Annette from WT HQ. She kept herself very busy taking lots of pics.
Game of Pictionary (UGRR specific) after dinner and the Sues beat the SmartAsses. Great teammates - Linda Sue, Suz-E, and Linda. Thanks gals.
